Came across a great article on Ed's site today which got me thinking about the mail databases here. Thought I would share some of my findings and see what some of your stats are like.

    Company 1
  • Number of mail databases: 462
  • Average Mail Database Size: 156.43 MB
  • Number of users under the above average: 332
  • 5 largest mail databases:
    2.36 GB
    2.35 GB
    1.8 GB
    1.69 GB
    1.46 GB

    Company 2 (on Domino less than 1 year)
  • Number of mail databases: 81
  • Average Mail Database Size: 95.57 MB
  • Number of users under the above average: 66
  • 5 largest mail databases:
    933.5 MB
    925.1 MB
    661.1 MB
    604 MB
    453.8 MB

    Hmm..so roughly 73% of your users are above the average and I'm looking at about 28% and 19% above the average for mine. Interesting.
